Theresa Lina has been involved at Stanford since 2006. She is affiliated with the Graduate School of Business, where she is a member of several teaching teams in the Executive Education Program. She is also an executive coach for the Stanford Leadership Academy, an elite program for select senior faculty and administrators provided by the University Human Resources organization. Theresa has also had a long association with the Department of Management Science and Engineering in the School of Engineering and the Stanford Technology Ventures Program within that department.
Theresa has over twenty years of experience as a recognized Silicon Valley thought leader, business strategist and marketing expert. She is the author of the bestselling strategy book, Be the Go-To: How to Own Your Competitive Market, Charge More, and Have Customers Love You for It. She is the CEO of Lina Group, Inc., which specializes in market dominance strategy, and has served as chief strategy and marketing officer for several technology startups. She has advised executives at hundreds of companies, including Apple, Amazon, Google, Nike, Disney, Cisco, Verizon, dozens of other recognized names, and many smaller, niche companies. She began her career at Accenture, where she helped found, lead, and grow what is now a multibillion-dollar business unit within the company. Theresa is a frequent speaker and workshop leader on strategy, market leadership and innovation.
