Current Research and Scholarly Interests

I am interested in how brain dynamics and cognitive functions in health and disease emerge from interactions within biological neural networks. To this purpose, I combine theoretical and computational models of brain dynamics and function inspired by statistical physics and information theory with analysis of neural recordings at different scales using machine learning methods.
