Bio


Vivek is a Bioengineering PhD student at Stanford University. Previously, he earned B.S. and M.S degrees in Biomedical Engineering with a minor Computer Science from Georgia Tech. For his undergraduate research, he studied the thalamocortical circuit, developed cortical state modeling tools for real-time control experiments, and researched explainable AI in the context of medicine. He also worked with the Mayo Clinic to prototype devices to improve patient experience during awake neurosurgery and conducted internships with Medtronic.
