Bio
Dr. Alegria is a board-certified Infectious Diseases Pharmacotherapy specialist and antimicrobial stewardship consultant with the Stanford Antimicrobial Safety and Sustainability Program. He primarily practices in the inpatient setting and is dedicated to developing targeted stewardship interventions in immunocompromised patient populations. His clinical interests include management of infections in immunocompromised hosts, antifungal pharmacotherapy, and difficult-to-treat infections.
