Bio

Dr. Yanli Qiao has worked at Stanford for many years, and joined the Rosen Laboratory in 2022. She works with transgenic mice to understand the mechanistic etiology of ulcerative colitis (UC). Specifically, she studies how Th2 responses shape epithelial differentiation and repair in acute and chronic colitis. She also investigates how ILC2s contribute to epithelial homeostasis using both animal and human organoid models of disease in UC. In her free time, Yanli enjoys gardening and cooking Chinese food for her family.
