Bio

Dr. Lin is a staff scientist at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory and a PI at the Stanford Institute for Materials and Energy Sciences (SIMES) at SLAC. Her research centers on utilizing a suite of in situ probes, particularly X-ray tools, to understand the behavior of complex materials under extreme conditions. These materials find applications in a wide range of technologies essential for a sustainable energy future. Recently, integrating artificial intelligence tools has become one of her new research endeavors, further advancing the study.
