Bio

Yunyun is a postdoctoral scholar in Cardiovascular Medicine at Stanford. She received her PhD in Genetics from Zhejiang University in China (2025), where she studied the metabolic-epigenetic mechanisms of cardiovascular disease such as atherosclerosis and angiogenesis. In 2026, she joined the Quertermous Lab, where her research focuses on uncovering the mechanisms underlying atherosclerosis using Perturb-seq technology.
