Yusuke Yamashita

Bio
Yusuke Yamashita is a Postdoctoral Researcher of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Stanford University. He received a Ph.D. and M.S. in Aerospace Engineering and a Graduate Certificate in Engineering from the University of Tokyo, and B.S. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Osaka Prefecture University. He obtained fellowship as a Japan Society for the Promotion of Science. His interests include electric propulsion, low-temperature plasmas, microwave and plasma interaction, and computational plasma physics. He received Second place award in student competition at International Electric Propulsion Conference, and Japanese Rocket Society Award at 33rd International Symposium on Space Technology and Science.
