Bio

Zach West is a PA working in hospital medicine at Stanford Hospital. He graduated from the Stanford School of Medicine with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant studies, and received his Doctor of Medical Science (DMS) degree from Butler University.

Prior to PA school, Zach served in the US Army as a Special Forces medic, deploying to Iraq and South America. He also worked as a 911 paramedic in New York City during the COVID-19 pandemic. He continues to serve as a Green Beret in the US Army National Guard.
