Adam Sabet
Masters Student in Electrical Engineering, admitted Autumn 2026
Bio
Incoming M.S. student in Electrical Engineering at Stanford, focusing on robotics and control. I completed a B.S. in Physics and Economics at The Ohio State University, where I served as Deputy Project Manager for the NASA Student Launch Initiative, leading systems integration and testing for a team that consistently ranked in the top 20 of 80+ universities nationally. I'm currently building foundational skills in kinematics, control systems, and embedded robotics ahead of starting my program this fall.

Current Research and Scholarly Interests
I'm broadly interested in robotics and control systems, with a particular focus on manipulation, embedded autonomy, and the intersection of learning-based methods and classical control for robots operating in real-world, uncertain environments. My background in physics gives me a strong foundation in the underlying mathematics and dynamics, and my systems-leadership experience on a national engineering competition team shaped my interest in how complex robotic systems are integrated and tested end-to-end. I'm early in building hands-on research experience and am currently exploring these ideas through independent projects in kinematics and control.
