Bio


Bradley W. Joondeph is the Jerry A. Kasner Professor at Santa Clara University School of Law. He writes and teaches about U.S. constitutional law, taxation, and federalism. He is the author of more than 50 academic articles and essays, as well as the casebook Constitutional Law: Structure and Principles. He previously served as a judicial clerk for Justice Sandra Day O’Connor (Supreme Court of the United States) and Judge Deanell Reece Tacha (United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit). Prior to joining the Santa Clara faculty, he was Associate Professor at Washington University School of Law (1997–1999). He has also served as Visiting Professor at Stanford Law School (2023–2024).
