Bio
Bree Evans is a Wildfire Policy Legal Fellow with Stanford Law School Environmental & Natural Resources Law & Policy Program and the Stanford Woods Institute for the Environment’s Climate and Energy Policy Program (CEPP). Prior to joining the team she represented Tribes and tribal organizations while based out of the Washington, D.C. office of Hobbs, Straus, Dean & Walker. While in law school, she interned with the Office of Tribal Justice (OTJ) at the United States Department of Justice, with the International Section of the General Counsel’s Office of the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), and with the General Counsel’s Office of the Institute of Museum & Library Services. She is passionate about environmental and cultural heritage management, particularly in our public lands.
