BioA Kenyan strategy and operations leader working at the intersection of technology, talent, and impact. I am passionate about building and scaling tech-enabled platforms that connect Africa’s emerging professionals with the growing global demand for expertise to train and advance complex artificial intelligence and machine learning systems.
As Director of Generative AI Operations at Hugo, I led teams delivering machine learning initiatives for global technology companies such as Meta and Google. Our work enhances AI systems through large-scale data annotation, quality evaluation, and human review processes that ensure accuracy, fairness, and high performance.
Outside of work, I am a husband and father, a Vassar College and LSE alum, and someone who enjoys trying new restaurants, snorkeling on beach holidays, walking in Nairobi’s urban forests, and taking my young son on new adventures such as his first trip to the ocean or spotting wildlife in the city’s national park. -

Diego Salazar Guerra
MBA, expected graduation 2026
BioDiego Salazar Guerra, from Monterrey, Mexico, is pursuing a master’s degree in business administration at Stanford Graduate School of Business. He graduated summa cum laude from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey with a bachelor’s degree in law and studied at Yale University as a visiting student.
Diego aspires to strengthen Mexico’s rule of law and enhance the provision of public goods by improving government institutions and bridging the gap between policy design and execution.
At Nuevo Leon’s Congress, Diego served as a policy advisor and was appointed by the Legislature as chief of staff for the Congressional Committee on Justice and Public Security. By engaging citizens, authorities, and lawmakers in policymaking, he helped achieve significant reforms in law enforcement, access to justice, and the defense of human rights.
Diego is a Knight-Hennessy Scholar and Fulbright–Garcia Robles Scholar and will also pursue a joint master’s degree in public policy at Harvard Kennedy School. -
Alexa Samaniego

Alexa's research is inspired by her background in theatre and the performing arts. She considers how speakers and audiences experience repeated performances (e.g., entrepreneurs giving the same pitch, or trainers giving the same seminar), and why certain speakers come across as more authentic than others. Her research informs the work she does as a presentation coach in the Stanford Oral Communication program and TEDxStanford.
Prior to beginning her PhD, Alexa worked as a research associate at Achievers Workforce Institute and Columbia Business School. She received her BS in Business Psychology from UC San Diego, and her MS in Applied Psychology from San Diego State University. -
Dima Subbotin

BioDima Subbotin is a product and customer experience leader who has spent the past decade building global tech products and teams, most recently helping launch a streaming platform across the Middle East and Central Asia. He thrives on connecting technology with people, from designing customer-centric services to mentoring young product managers. Outside of work, Dima is an avid runner who has completed marathons around the world and founded a community for slow runners, as well as a passionate traveler who has explored 30+ countries and led group journeys. He enjoys blending creativity and structure in everything he does, whether experimenting with new AI projects, curating cultural experiences, or helping friends navigate big life transitions.

Prior to that, Sam was an Associate at Boston Consulting Group, advising clients on strategic and operational challenges across industries. He earned his bachelor's degree in Human and Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University in 2021.
