Jessica Marie Persano

BioJessica Persano is a Research Fellow at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where she supports empirical research on American politics, elections, and public opinion under Dr. Andy Hall. She holds a B.A. in Political Science (Honors) and Geography/Environmental Studies from UCLA, where her senior thesis explored how policy type and political salience shape policy responsiveness across U.S. states. Jessica has previously conducted research on representation, political behavior, and election outcomes, and she is broadly interested in democratic responsiveness, representation, and public policy.

Balaji Prabhakar

BioPrabhakar's research focuses on the design, analysis, and implementation of data networks: both wireline and wireless. He has been interested in designing network algorithms, problems in ad hoc wireless networks, and designing incentive mechanisms. He has a long-standing interest in stochastic network theory, information theory, algorithms, and probability theory.
