Diego Mazo

BioI am President of CEIPA Institución Universitaria in Medellín, Colombia, a position I have held since 2012. I have been part of the institution for most of my professional career.
My work centers on innovation in education. I am committed to expanding access to high-quality higher education for working adults and first-generation students across Latin America. I began my career as a computer scientist, which led me to pioneer online higher education in Colombia. I designed one of the country's first virtual university models and introduced a problem-based curriculum built around two-month academic terms. Today I am focused on competency-based education, microcredentials and the integration of artificial intelligence into teaching and learning.
I am also launching Outcometrics, an edtech venture that helps institutions measure and improve learning outcomes, bringing data and evidence to the center of academic decision-making.
At CEIPA, we earned institutional high-quality accreditation from Colombia's Ministry of Education, renewed in 2026 for six years. We also joined the Cintana Alliance, whose anchor university is Arizona State University. During the pandemic, I led the Ministry's Plan Padrino initiative, through which we supported other institutions and trained more than 1,500 faculty members.
I hold an Ed.D. in Global Education from the University of Southern California and an M.A. in Higher Education Administration from Universidad de los Andes, and I completed Harvard's Institute for Educational Management.
At Stanford, I look forward to learning from leaders across industries and to exploring how organizations can innovate and scale their impact. -

Piotr Slomianny

BioPiotr Słomianny is Chief Financial Officer and Chief Information Officer at MPWiK Wrocław, a municipal water and wastewater utility in Poland. He brings more than a decade of senior leadership experience, combining expertise in finance, technology, and organizational transformation. He is also a certified EFQM assessor.
His experience includes leading digital transformation and commercializing technology solutions for the water and wastewater sector. He has also co-run a psychological care center and contributed to a startup developing tools to support therapists and patients.
Piotr is a member of the 2026–2027 Stanford Executive Program Flex cohort at Stanford Graduate School of Business. -
Anzhey Zhimbiev

BioAnzhey Zhimbiev, MBA, is a biotechnology entrepreneur and angel investor. He is the Founder of Rapid Bio, a medical diagnostics company, and CEO of LifeDX SA, a Switzerland-based biotechnology company focused on innovative diagnostic technologies.
He has invested in more than 10 startups across healthcare and technology. His experience spans biotechnology, medical diagnostics, entrepreneurship, international business development, and venture investing. He is also a member of Business Angels Switzerland.
