BioEmilee Quezada is a first-year Ph.D. student in history, focusing on modern Latin American history, with an emphasis on twentieth-century Central America. Emilee is particularly interested in how student-led social movements and uprisings shaped revolutionary agendas, political transitions, migration, and transnational networks.
Prior to entering Stanford’s Ph.D. program, she earned a B.A. in History from UC Berkeley in 2024, where her research examined how a female combatant and commander in the Farabundo Martà National Liberation Front (FMLN) established political legitimacy in post-war El Salvador. -
