Philip Andrew Fisher

BioDr. Philip Fisher is the Diana Chen Professor of Early Childhood Learning in the Graduate School of Education and the Director of the Stanford Center on Early Childhood. His research, focuses on developing and evaluating scalable early childhood interventions in communities, and on translating scientific knowledge regarding healthy development under conditions of adversity for use in social policy and programs. He is particularly interested in the effects of early stressful experiences on children's development, and in prevention and treatment programs for improving children's functioning in areas such as relationships with caregivers and peers, social-emotional development, and academic achievement. He is currently the lead investigator in the ongoing RAPID-EC project, a national survey on the well-being of households with young children during the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Fisher is the developer of a number of widely implemented evidence-based interventions for supporting healthy child development in the context of social and economic adversity, including Treatment Foster Care Oregon for Preschoolers (TFCO-P) and Kids in Transition to School (KITS). Most recently, he developed the Filming Interactions to Nurture Development (FIND) video coaching program for supporting parenting in the home environment and early childhood care and education professionals in childcare and preschool contexts. He has published over 250 scientific papers in peer reviewed journals. He is the recipient of the 2012 Society for Prevention Research Translational Science Award, and a 2019 Fellow of the American Psychological Society.

Eric Foote
Clinical Assistant Professor, Pediatrics - Neonatology
BioEric Foote is a pediatric hospitalist with experience conducting clinical and public health research around the world. His research focuses on identifying and intervening on health disparities in low income countries and in low resource settings. Currently, he is developing and evaluating a community health worker-led household phototherapy intervention to extend access to neonatal jaundice care for newborns in rural Bangladesh. He is also working to improve SARS-CoV-2 testing and genomic surveillance across California and worldwide.

I am currently the clinical and research director for the PANS program.

Matilda Fresk

BioBiorepository Manager and Life Science Research Professional at Stanford Medicine. I support both the Center for IBD and Celiac Disease and Dr. Michael Rosen’s Lab, where my primary focus is the administration and execution of the Biorepository study.
My role bridges strategic operations with hands-on technical execution. I oversee the development of SOPs, inventory management, and maintain direct contact with our cohort of research participants and their families. I also collaborate closely with research labs across Stanford to supply them with biorepository samples, ensuring full regulatory compliance and proper documentation for all de-identified sample transfers. Furthermore, I provide integral support for our Clinical Research Coordinators (CRCs) on key initiatives, including the CAPTURE IBD and MUSIC-CD studies, managing essential processes such as visit registration, supply procurement, research kit preparation, and biospecimen processing.
I bring a deeply technical engineering background, with over three years specialized in the generation, characterization, and affinity purification of antibody-based constructs and AAV vectors, with a strong understanding of process development. Previously a Research Engineer at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where I coordinated autoimmune research with the Karolinska Institute.
I hold both an MSc and a BSc in Medical Biotechnology from KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
