Current Research and Scholarly InterestsInterleukin-12 is a Th1 cytokine. It is important in the cell mediated immune response. We are investigating its role as an anti-tumor cytokine to augment the immune response against cancer. We are planning a human trial.

Current Research and Scholarly InterestsMy research focuses on improving the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of vascular disease through clinical and translational investigation. Areas of interest include arterial and venous thrombosis, thoracic aortic disease, peripheral artery disease, vascular imaging, and implementation of evidence-based care models. I am particularly interested in multidisciplinary vascular care, clinical trials, outcomes research, and reducing cardiovascular disparities.
