Yijie (Jamie) Li
Postdoctoral Scholar, Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine
BioI am a postdoctoral scholar at Stanford University, working on longitudinal wearable data to study interventions for diabetes and childhood obesity. I use computational and machine learning methods to extract actionable insights from high-resolution health data to improve treatment outcomes. Previously, I completed my Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Tulsa, focusing on machine learning for major depressive disorder using genomics, gene age, and neurofeedback. I also hold master’s degrees in Applied Economics and Finance from UC Santa Cruz and in Accountancy from the University of Tulsa, where I worked on financial modeling and stock market analysis.

Zheng Li
Postdoctoral Scholar, Ophthalmology
BioZheng Li joined Stanford University as a postdoctoral fellow in August 2026, under the mentorship of Dr. Ahmad Al-Moujahed. Her research focuses on understanding the mechanisms underlying inherited retinal degenerations (IRDs), particularly retinitis pigmentosa (RP), and developing novel therapeutic strategies. By integrating single-cell transcriptomics, proteomics, and human-derived data, she aims to identify biomarkers and therapeutic targets for retinal degeneration.
She received her PhD from the Institut de la Vision in Paris, where she studied gene-agnostic neuroprotective strategies to preserve cone photoreceptors in RP. Her long-term goal is to translate mechanistic insights into new therapies for retinal diseases.
