Yuhao (Danny) Huang
Postdoctoral Scholar, Neurosurgery
Resident in Graduate Medical EducationBioI am a resident and post-doctorate researcher in the Department of Neurosurgery at Stanford University. As a physician-scientist with a focus on signal processing and neural electrophysiology, I work with multimodal datasets to understand how brain signals correlate with human behavior. I am interested in using computer vision and machine learning to parse neural correlates of behavior under naturalistic settings. Another area of interest involves building robust neuro-modulatory treatments for functional disorders and epilepsy. I received my BSc at University of Alberta and my MD at Stanford University.

Hehua (Hannah) Huang
Affiliate, Department Funds
Fellow in PathologyBioDr. Hehua "Hannah" Huang is an Anatomic Pathology (AP) board-certified pathologist with extensive clinical and research experience. She is currently a Molecular Genetic Pathology Fellow at Stanford University (2024-2025) and will pursue a Cytopathology Fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital & Massachusetts General Hospital (BWH & MGH) in 2025.
Dr. Huang earned her M.D. from Sun Yat-Sen University of Clinical Medicine in Guangzhou, China, practiced internal medicine, and then earned an M.S. in Clinical Pharmacology from Peking Union Medical College in Beijing, China. She completed her Anatomic Pathology residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Her research experience includes Phase I clinical studies involving pharmacokinetics and developing and validating liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) assays. Her research interests encompass next-generation sequencing (NGS), precision medicine, molecular tumor profiling, liquid biopsy and fine needle aspiration (FNA) in cytopathology. -

KC Huang
Professor of Bioengineering and of Microbiology and Immunology
Current Research and Scholarly InterestsHow do cells determine their shape and grow?
How do molecules inside cells get to the right place at the right time?
Our group tries to answer these questions using a systems biology approach, in which we integrate interacting networks of protein and lipids with the physical forces determined by the spatial geometry of the cell. We use theoretical and computational techniques to make predictions that we can verify experimentally using synthetic, chemical, or genetic perturbations.
