Current Research and Scholarly InterestsMy personal mission is to contribute to the overall care of the surgical patient through clinical practice, training, and education. My research interests, as they pertain to this mission, are the surgical management of ventral hernias, minimal access surgical techniques, evidenced based surgery, surgical skills acquisition, and surgical education.

BioDr. Jennifer Lehnhardt is a Clinical Instructor in Hospital Dentistry, Dental Oncology, and Oral Medicine & Maxillofacial Surgery. Her focus is on maintaining oral health by offering education, as well as managing and treating the dentition and supporting structures. As a hospital dentist, she specializes in the surgical treatment of dental infection and trauma. She performs medically necessary dental extractions in the context of larger medical conditions, such as cardiac disease, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, joint replacement, or organ transplantation.
