Antara Chakravarty
Postdoctoral Scholar, Microbiology and Immunology
BioAntara is a Postdoc in Dr. Priscilla Yang's Lab, where she is exploring small molecule-based targeted protein degradation as an antiviral strategy against structural proteins of flaviviruses. She is also keenly interested in understanding the mechanistic details of virus-induced changes in membrane lipid composition of infected cells, for which she is using hepatitis C virus replicase complex as a model system. Antara received training in molecular virology during her doctoral work in Dr. ALN Rao's Lab at the University of California-Riverside. There she discovered key implications of viral capsid dynamics in the pathogenicity and infectivity of multipartite bromoviruses.

Yifan Gao

BioDr. Yifan Gao is a postdoctoral researcher at Stanford University School of Medicine in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology under Prof. Justin Sonnenburg's advisement. Prior to joining Stanford, she received her Ph.D. from UCLA focusing on Environmental Microbiology and M.S. from UC Berkeley in Environmental Engineering.

Maximilian Haist

BioDr. Haist is a clinician scientist who explores the tumor microenvironment of advanced skin cancer patients to identify predictive biomarkers and immunological signatures using single-cell multiplexing technologies. As a Ph.D. student, Dr. Haist investigated the role of tumor hypoxia and the adenosine system in patients with melanoma brain metastases treated with combined radiochemotherapy. Currently, Dr Haist is a Postdoctoral Fellow in Dr. Garry Nolan´s lab and comes with interest in multiplex technologies to analyze the organization of effective anti-tumor immune responses within the tumor microenvironment.

Elena Monti

BioMy research during my PhD focused on the human neuromuscular system adaptations in response to overloading (training), unloading, aging and disease (specifically, cancer cachexia).
To date, during my postdoc, I am working on the effects of the enzyme 15-PGDH on the neuromuscular system health/connection in young and aged animals. -
Yuqi Tan
Postdoctoral Scholar, Microbiology and Immunology
BioDr. Tan is a computational biologist who develops computational tools to quantitatively assess cell identity, improve stem cell engineering, and understand cancer heterogeneity. As a Ph.D. student, Dr. Tan routinely performs computational and quantitative analysis on scRNA-seq data, which has resulted in several publications. Currently, at her postdoctoral position, Dr. Tan integrated single-cell omics with multiplexed image data to understand high dimensional tissue architecture in cancer. Dr.Tan's long-term aims are to integrate multi-omics to understand how different cell types and their interactions contribute to development and disease.
