Stephanie Caddell
Ph.D. Student in Oceans, admitted Autumn 2024
Research Assistant, OceansBioStephanie Caddell graduated with a bachelor's degree in environmental science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with minors in marine science and environmental justice. While at UNC she researched marine microbiology, fisheries dynamics, and marine ecosystem dynamics in Ecuador and the Galapagos. Additionally, she has researched bycatch mitigation efforts in the North Atlantic for sea turtle species with the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration. Now working on her PhD at Stanford University with Dr. Larry Crowder, Stephanie is interested in understanding how we can better manage interactions between fishing activity and migratory species (primary sharks and turtles) off the coast of South America. She aims to understand how to bring together local community knowledge with that of the natural sciences to inform more productive policy and management strategies.

Clark Michael Campagna
Assistant Director of Student Services, Geophysics
BioClark Campagna serves as Assistant Director of Student Services for the Department of Geophysics. In this role, Clark: provides academic advising to BS, MS and Ph.D. geophysics students; supports the graduate admission process; manages course scheduling; and supports the department's postdoctoral scholars . Previously Clark served as a Student Services Officer for the dual and joint MS students in Stanford's E-IPER program.
Prior to joining Stanford, Clark served as a Program Assistant for two master-level programs at the University of San Francisco. As a student services professional, Clark enjoys hearing about students' goals and passions, and working with them to make the most of their time at Stanford. Clark holds a BA in Political Science from UC San Diego and both an MPA and MA in Higher Education Administration from the University of San Francisco. When not at work, Clark enjoys road cycling, running, cooking, and spending time with friends. -
Guadalupe Carrillo
Assistant Dean of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability - Dean's Office
BioAs Director of Stanford Earth's Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives, Dr. Carrillo directs and oversees the SURGE program for visiting undergraduate scholars, works with faculty on improving graduate-school admissions practices, and builds partnerships with universities and institutions across the world. She holds a PhD in English from Stanford University and a B.A. in English and Political Science from UC Berkeley. In addition to advancing the School's diversity goals, she also teaches literature courses on occasion. Last year she served as a lecturer for Stanford's CCSRE program, teaching a course on Contemporary U.S. Chicano and Latino Literature.
