BioI specialize in mineral processing and computational materials science. At Stanford, I investigate the electronic structure of critical minerals and their interfaces with water and chemical reagents using quantum mechanical (QM) computations. My research focuses on developing an intelligent framework to discover, design, and validate novel reagents that enable selective and sustainable recovery of critical materials from both primary ores and secondary resources.
In addition, I collaborate on AI-driven optimization and design of mineral processing operations under uncertainty.
