BioDr. Gina Kwon is a board certified dermatologist specializing in comprehensive dermatologic care covering skin cancer treatment and prevention, evaluation of moles and skin growths, actinic keratosis, warts, acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, and contact dermatitis.
Dr. Kwon received her Bachelors of Science in Biology from Brown University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and then received her medical degree at Stanford University. After medical school, Dr. Kwon completed an internship in Medicine at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore before completing her dermatology residency at the University of Washington in Seattle. She completed the last year of her residency at Stanford as a research fellow and clinical resident where she studied new ways to prevent and treat basal cell carcinomas. -
Marci Kwon
Assistant Professor of Art and Art History
BioMarci Kwon is Assistant Professor of Art History at Stanford University, and co-director of the Cantor Art Center's Asian American Art Initiative. She is the author of Enchantments: Joseph Cornell and American Modernism (Princeton, 2021), and co-editor of the online Martin Wong Catalogue Raisonné. She is the recipient of Stanford’s Asian American Teaching Prize, CCSRE Teaching Prize, Phi Beta Kappa Teaching Award, and the Women's Faculty Forum Inspiring Early Career Academic Award, and the Mellon Foundation Emerging Faculty Leader award.

Bernice Kwong, MD
Clinical Professor, Dermatology
BioBernice Kwong, M.D., is Clinical Professor of Dermatology, Director of the Supportive Dermato-Oncology Program, and Director of the Inpatient Dermatology Consult Service. She has a special interest in the management of cutaneous complications that arise in hospitalized patients and cancer patients. She runs the Supportive Dermato-Oncology Program at the Stanford Cancer Center, where she manages skin side effects of cancer therapies including chemotherapy-related skin reactions, radiation dermatitis, and graft-versus-host disease. Dr. Kwong completed medical school at Yale University, and completed her dermatology residency at Stanford University in 2012.

Phillip Kyriakakis

BioPhillip Kyriakakis, Ph.D. is a Senior Research Scientist in the Bioengineering Department at Stanford University in the Wu Tsai Institute for Neuroscience. Dr. Kyriakakis did his undergraduate work in Biochemistry at UMass Boston, where he also worked in Dr. Alexey Veraksa's developmental biology lab and started to develop PhyB optogenetics in animal cells (2008). Dr. Kyriakakis continued his education at UC San Diego in the Division of Biological Sciences. There, he studied cellular programming and metabolism to obtain his degree with a specialization in Multiscale Biology. Dr. Kyriakakis did his postdoctoral work in the Bioengineering Department at UC San Diego with Todd Coleman, continuing the development of optogenetic tools and related technologies. In 2021 Dr. Kyriakakis moved to his Senior Research Scientist role at Stanford University in the Bioengineering Department at the Wu Tsai Institute for Neurosciences.
