BioJulie Greicius is Associate Dean of Communications and Alumni Affairs for Stanford Engineering. She joined the school in early 2023 and leads strategic communications, media relations, alumni engagement, and productions including the school's podcast, The Future of Everything. She led communications and events for Stanford Engineering's centennial in 2025, a multiyear effort culminating in a yearlong celebration, including production of the school's first history book, videos, website, social media, a showcase and celebration on the school's birthday attended by more than 3,000 members of the community, and speaker events featuring alumni Jensen Huang and Sergey Brin. Her career with Stanford began in 2006, when she joined Stanford Children's Health as a freelance writer, eventually becoming editorial director, overseeing brand voice, messaging, and digital platforms through a major rebrand. She joined Stanford Medicine in 2018 as a media relations manager and went on to serve as Senior Director of External Communications, leading media relations, crisis communications, and issue management through the COVID-19 pandemic. She has contributed regularly to Stanford Medicine magazine and other university publications. She holds an MFA in creative nonfiction from Columbia University. -
