Steven Bancroft

BioLieutenant Colonel Steven Bancroft is a combat engineer officer and red teamer in the Marine Corps. In nineteen years of service, he has deployed to Iraq, Afghanistan, Nepal, and the Philippines. His roles have included combat, humanitarian, and training assignments. He completed three tours of duty in Okinawa, Japan, totaling ten years of experience in the Indo-Pacific region.
Bancroft served as department head and the sole aviation ground support instructor at Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron One, the Marine Corps’s leading aviation training command, where he spent three years enhancing warfighting capabilities and integrating aviation and ground forces.
Most recently, Bancroft commanded the Seventh Engineer Support Battalion at Camp Pendleton, California, delivering combat and general engineering support and overseeing engineering deployments for I Marine Expeditionary Force in the Indo-Pacific and other regions. -
