  BioZhefu Li is an undergraduate student at the School of Life Sciences at Tsinghua University and interned at Guolan Lu's lab at Stanford during the summer of 2026. He is broadly interested in computational biology, including systems biology, spatial omics, biophysics, mathematical modeling, and computational neuroscience. Besides that, he’s also a fan of botany and zoology, enjoys birdwatching, observing insects and flowers, and loves ecological surveys.

  Current Research and Scholarly InterestsThe overarching theme of my scholarship is to develop precision diagnostics in imaging and biomarkers to guide the delivery of precision therapy for urological diseases including bladder cancer, urinary tract infections, and kidney stone disease.

  Current Research and Scholarly InterestsThe Lu Lab develops and integrates AI, spatial multi-omics, and advanced imaging to understand and model how cells, tissues, and therapeutic agents interact in their native spatial context, and how these interactions drive disease progression and treatment response.
