Samsuzzoha Mondal

BioSamsuzzoha Modal is a Research Associate at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory and a Ph.D. chemist specializing in advanced microscopy and biophysical chemistry. His research integrates protein engineering, structural biology, and quantitative imaging to understand how protein organization across length scales regulates biological activity, and to translate these mechanistic insights into therapeutic and diagnostic approaches.
Samsuzzoha earned his Ph.D. at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (Mumbai, India), where he developed chemical tools to image signaling phospholipid dynamics in live biological systems. He then completed postdoctoral training at the University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia), building in vitro reconstitution models to study the molecular basis of membrane trafficking. Since 2023 at SLAC, he has been combining X‑ray crystallography, small‑angle X‑ray scattering, and advanced optical methods to uncover design principles for quantum biosensing tools and to support structure‑guided small‑molecule therapeutic development.
A committed educator and mentor, Samsuzzoha has taught bioanalytical chemistry and led diverse student teams, emphasizing inclusive, hands‑on training, reproducible data practices, and translational problem‑solving. -
Benoît Monin

BioBenoît Monin received his Ph.D. in Psychology from Princeton University, and an M.Sc. in Social Psychology at the London School of Economics. He completed his undergraduate studies at ESSEC (France). Monin joined the Stanford Department of Psychology in 2001, and since 2008 he has held appointments both in psychology and in the Organizational Behavior area at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Ashby Monk

BioDr. Ashby Monk is currently a Senior Research Engineer, School of Engineering at Stanford University, and holds the position of Executive Director of the Stanford Research Initiative on Long-Term Investing.
Ashby has more than 20 years of experience studying and advising investment organizations. He has authored multiple books and published 100s of research papers on institutional investing. His latest book, The Technologized Investor, won the 2021 Silver Medal from the Axiom Business Book Awards in the Business Technology category.
Outside of academia, he has co-founded several companies that help investors make better investment decisions, including Real Capital Innovation (acquired by Addepar), FutureProof, NetPurpose, D.A.T.A., ThirdAct, Growthsphere, SheltonAI and Long Game Savings (acquired by Truist). He is also a member of the CFA Institute’s Future of Finance Advisory Council and was named by CIO Magazine as one of the most influential academics in the institutional investing world.
Ashby received his Doctorate in Economic Geography at the University of Oxford, holds a Master’s in International Economics from the Université de Paris I - Pantheon Sorbonne, and has a Bachelor’s in Economics from Princeton University -
