Current Research and Scholarly InterestsAs a physician-scientist involved in the care of pediatric patients and developing novel pediatric molecular imaging technologies, my goal is to link the fields of nanotechnology and medical imaging towards more efficient diagnoses and image-guided therapies. Our research team develops novel imaging techniques for improved cancer diagnosis, for image-guided-drug delivery and for in vivo monitoring of cell therapies in children and young adults.

Current Research and Scholarly InterestsMy current research centers on developing mathematical tools to enhance the explainability of image reconstruction algorithms in computational magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). By integrating principles from machine learning, signal processing, and generative models, I aim to improve the transparency and reliability of AI applications in medical imaging.

Taylor Ann Dalzell

BioTaylor is an Audiology fellow on the research emphasis track. She is currently completing her Doctor of Audiology degree at Vanderbilt University. Her clinical interests include adult diagnostics and hearing aids, with additional interests in clinical research and improving audiologic care through data-driven approaches. Taylor is particularly interested in the intersection of clinical practice and research and plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Speech and Hearing Sciences following completion of her Au.D. Outside of audiology, Taylor enjoys spending time outdoors, FaceTiming with her family (especially their two golden retrievers, Aspen and Vail), and baking.
