Meghan Warner
COLLEGE Lecturer
BioMeghan is a Civic, Liberal, and Global Education (COLLEGE) Lecturer and a sociologist. She uses qualitative methods to study bodies as sites for the reproduction of gender inequality. More specifically, she studies sexual violence, family formation, and pregnancy and childbirth. Her work can be found in Sociological Perspectives, Contexts, and The Annual Review of Law and Social Science.
In her dissertation, she uses interviews, surveys, and observations to study how women in the SF Bay Area prepare for and experience their first births. This research is supported by grants from the American Sociological Association, the Center for Institutional Courage, the Stanford Ethnography Lab, and the Stanford School of Humanities and Sciences. -
Daniel Webber
COLLEGE Lecturer
BioDan Webber is a Lecturer in Civic, Liberal, and Global Education (COLLEGE). Previously, he was a fellow at Stanford's McCoy Family Center for Ethics in Society. Dan received his PhD in philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh in 2023, and his BA in computer science from Amherst College in 2014. His research is on moral theory, with a particular focus on puzzles arising from the tension between morality's universality (it's about taking everyone into account) and its particularity (it's about how we relate to one another as individuals).

Aniya Williams

BioMy name is Aniya Williams, a student-athlete on the Stanford Women’s Soccer Team. I've played soccer since I was 3 years old, and have been fortunate enough to represent Mexico at the U-17 and U-20 levels. I’m the founder of the Among Warriors Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to helping underprivileged youth gain access to sports and mentorship with the aim of empowering them to operate at a level of excellence. I plan to major in business or medicine, and desire to continue building a life that encompasses purpose, performance, and impact.

Jonah Willihnganz
The Stanford Storytelling Project Manager, Writing and Rhetoric Operations
BioJonah Willihnganz is the Director of the Stanford Storytelling Project, an arts program that explores how story craft and practices can be used to create personal and social change and is the co-founder of the LifeWorks Program for Integrative Learning in the School of Medicine, which teaches students how to build natural capacities through practices from the arts, humanities, psychology, and wisdom traditions. He also co-leads the Dalai Lama Fellowship program at Stanford.
His research focuses on how narrative practices can help deepen capacities such as presence, courage, and empathy, and he has published fiction, essays, and articles on literature and pedagogy. He teaches courses in creative writing, American literature, media studies, and critical theory, and created the first college courses on storytelling in audio media. A long-time contemplative and student of Aikido, he incorporates their practices of into many of his courses, and he helps faculty integrate both narrative and contemplative practices into their courses.
He received a bachelor's degree from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, an MFA in creative writing from Hollins University, and a PhD in English from Brown. He belongs to the communities of the San Francisco Zen Center and Palo Alto Friends (Quakers), is a slow but avid swimmer, and is learning to fly fish. -
