Bio
Derek Christopher is a postdoctoral scholar working on topics related to urban and public economics. His work focuses on housing, public policy, immigration, and crime. Much of his recent work evaluates how policy and local law enforcement decisions influence the relationship between undocumented status and housing accessibility. Derek received his PhD in economics from the University of California, Irvine in 2022 and his bachelor's in mathematics and economics from Indiana University in 2016.
