Bio


Diana Carbajal, who hails from a Mexican background and uses she/her pronouns, holds a BA in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley. She is a Research Coordinator with the OREC team at Stanford's ADRC Lab. She is driven by her profound passion for understanding and addressing neurodegenerative diseases in minorities. Her work centers around promoting inclusive participation in research studies, focusing on minorities, as she strives to advance our knowledge of these conditions.

Beyond her profession, her research interests extend to affective science and various forms of dementias. Her diverse experience, rooted in the vibrant culture of Mexico, enriches her ability to connect with individuals from various backgrounds. This underscores her commitment to fostering diversity and inclusivity in neurological research.

With a vision of a world where we can better comprehend and combat the challenges posed by neurodegenerative diseases, Diana dedicates herself to this goal. She is proud to be a part of the innovative team at the ADRC Lab at Stanford.
