Bio
I received my PhD from Münster University, Germany, where I developed large-scale simulation frameworks to evaluate the effects of intervention strategies on disease spread during epidemics. At Stanford, I now study how such scientific insights are translated into real-world policy decisions, particularly when governments must balance public health benefits with social and economic costs.
