Bio

Kunyu Wang is a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Department of Urology at Stanford University School of Medicine. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2026 and his bachelor’s degree from Southeast University’s Chien-Shiung Wu College (Youth Class) in 2021.

His previous research experience includes multi-modal foundation models, embodied AI, and transfer learning. His current research centers on computational modeling for scientific discovery, with a particular focus on cancer biology. Using spatial omics data, he aims to uncover how cellular states, spatial organization, and cell–cell interactions shape cancer progression and treatment response. His long-term goal is to translate these insights into strategies for precision medicine and drug screening.
