Bio

Lina Bertling Tjernberg is Professor in Power Grid Technology at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden, and Visiting Professor in the Department of Energy Science and Engineering at Stanford University during 2026–2027. Her research focuses on the reliability and resilience of future electric power systems, with particular emphasis on predictive maintenance, reliability-centered asset management, and risk-informed decision support. At Stanford, her research explores resilient power grids, robust optimization, and approaches combining power-system engineering with data-driven and AI-enabled methods.
