Robin Turkmen is an accomplished Construction Project Manager with 17+ years of diverse experience in the AEC sector, offering a profound expertise in managing complex projects across the globe including the United States, Turkey, Europe, and the Middle East. With a robust background in construction management, project coordination, and engineering, Robin excels in delivering projects that encompass a wide range of technical and infrastructural elements. This includes overseeing the construction of electrical switchgear, generators, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, security systems, fire safety systems, as well as commercial and industrial buildings with comprehensive mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) designs.

Holding a Master of Science in Construction Management, Robin is adept at managing the technical infrastructure projects and spearheading innovative design implementations. Through meticulous integration of diverse construction techniques and systems, Robin ensures each project adheres to the highest standards of quality, innovation, and sustainability.

In the current role as Senior Project Manager at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, a prestigious facility operated by Stanford University for the DOE, Robin leads the planning, development, and execution of critical facilities and infrastructure projects that bolster scientific research. Managing projects with scopes ranging from $10M to $30M, Robin's work is pivotal in enhancing scientific research capabilities through the improvement of infrastructure, including essential utility systems, research laboratories, and state-of-the-art cleanrooms.

Robin's leadership extends to a variety of infrastructure improvement projects, such as electrical system overhauls, cooling tower replacements, and the repair and replacement of roadways and pipelines, ensuring the operational integrity and efficiency of the facility's backbone. A key liaison between various organizational groups and stakeholders, Robin skillfully coordinates with scientists, engineers, finance and contracting teams, and facilities maintenance experts to drive project success.

Furthermore, Robin is recognized as an industry expert in heavy civil construction, with a significant track record in delivering major projects for corporate, government, transportation, and educational institutions. I am currently working for SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory which operated by Stanford University as a contractor for the United States Department of Energy (DOE) in San Francisco Bay Area as Senior Project Manager.
