Ms. Ming Luo is currently the Associate Director of Stanford Global Engineering Programs. She is responsible for various programs including Undergraduate Visiting Research (UGVR), Global Engineering Internship Program, etc.

Ming joined the NASA-funded space program Gravity Probe B (GP-B) of Stanford as a researcher in 1994 and was involved in the development of SQUIDs, a superconducting sensor at the core of GP-B readout system. She switched to the Stanford GPS group in 1999 and had conducted research in the field of satellite navigation for five years. She moved to work on global collaboration at Stanford Center at PKU in 2005 and then Global Engineering Programs at School of Engineering in 2014. She has published more than 30 research papers and translated a GPS text book.

Ms Ming Luo graduated from Tsinghua University with a Bachelor Degree in Electronic Engineering. She obtained her Master Degree from Chinese Academy of Sciences and an Engineer Degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.

As the associate director of Global Engineering Programs, Ming is managing several School of Engineering programs including UGVR, Global Engineering Internship, etc.
