Bio

I am a faculty member in the Department of Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School and an AI scientist at Mass Eye and Ear, specializing in artificial intelligence for healthcare. I am currently visiting Stanford Medicine to develop new collaborations in ophthalmology and surgical AI.

My research focuses on surgical AI, clinical decision support and intervention planning, and AI-based early diagnosis and prognosis. I am particularly interested in developing trustworthy and clinically useful AI systems and translating research findings into tools that can improve patient care and outcomes.
