Molly Aufdermauer

Bio
Born and raised in Northern California, Molly Aufdermauer received her B.A. in Spanish from Brigham Young University and her M.A. in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) from San Jose State University. As part of her studies, she spent a year studying language and literature in Sevilla and Granada, Spain. Her academic interests are focused in comparative Spanish-English linguistics and language instruction. Molly has taught English language classes through Stanford R&DE's Stepping Stones to Success program as well as through Nuestra Casa in East Palo Alto. In her free time, she likes run, bike, hike, and spend time with her family.
At CLAS, Molly coordinates professional development for K-12 and community college educators, assisting with the implementation and reporting of U.S. Department of Education Title VI National Resource Center K-14 outreach activities and Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellowships for the study of less commonly taught languages.
