My name is Natally Celaya-Martinez, and I am from the Skagit Valley area in Washington State. I graduated from the University of Washington, Seattle with a B.S. in Biology (Physiology), where I learned a lot about navigating new spaces and learning a lot of wholesome lessons along the way ~

My interest in healthcare was shaped by watching my family navigate care through language barriers and moments of misunderstanding, revealing how easily patients can be left unheard. But growing up in a small community, I came to see how crucial it is to reduce healthcare disparities, which strengthened my commitment to serve underrepresented populations.

I am honored to be part of the Stanford Healthcare team and look forward to learning from peers and physicians who are committed to patient centered care. I hope to carry these experiences forward in my journey to medicine and give back to future generations!
