Bio

I am a Clinical Fellow in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition and a Tashia and John Morgridge Endowed Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford University and Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital, supported by the Maternal & Child Health Research Institute. I completed my residency at Henry Ford St. John Hospital in Detroit, where caring for diverse communities shaped my dedication to health equity and cultural humility.

In the Rosen Lab, my research centers on pediatric ulcerative colitis (UC). I use 3D colonoids—lab-grown models of the colon derived from intestinal stem cells—alongside single-cell genomic technologies to map cellular metabolic changes and cell-to-cell interactions. By decoding these cellular dynamics, my goal is to uncover targeted, precise therapies that better control disease, prevent complications, and support long-term growth, nutrition, and overall health for pediatric patients.

This work builds on my foundation in pediatric gastroenterology at the University of Virginia’s Syed Lab, where I contributed to data interpretation, grant development, and multi-institutional research integrating genomics and machine learning to investigate gastrointestinal structure and function.

As a student in the Master's in Translational Research and Applied Medicine (M-TRAM) program, I am building actionable skills across clinical medicine, translational research, and industry-driven approaches to innovation, preparing to advance therapeutics for complex pediatric enteropathies.
