Work Experience

  • Research Assistant, QuantEcon (May 15, 2024 - September 1, 2025)

Conducted research under Professor George Hall and Nobel Laureate Professor Thomas Sargent, focusing on the financing of the Louisiana Purchase and its role in establishing U.S. Treasuries as a global safe asset. Findings were synthesized into a Jupyter Notebook on Sargent’s website, combining data-driven insights with literature reviews to present a clear narrative for academic and policy audiences.

  • Economic Advisor, PraSaga (July 1, 2023 - January 15, 2025)

Refined SagaCoin’s supply model to promote price stability and ensure adequate liquidity. In particular, addressed the challenge of reducing supply during periods of weak demand without the ability to sell reserve assets. To that end, implemented a mechanism to reduce supply by adjusting transaction fees and modifying the proportion of those fees that are burned, as policy instruments.
