I am a Visiting Postdoctoral Scholar in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Stanford University, supported by the Walter Benjamin Fellowship from the German Research Foundation (DFG). As an orthopaedic surgeon and researcher, I have extensive research experience in musculoskeletal biology, biomaterials, regenerative medicine, and translational orthopaedic research. My research focuses on musculoskeletal regeneration, with particular interests in bone regeneration, spinal fusion, tendon repair and tendon-to-bone healing, musculoskeletal tissue engineering, and biomaterial-based regenerative strategies.
