Michelle Madore, Ph.D.

Clinical Assistant Professor (Affiliated), Psych/Public Mental Health & Population SciencesBioDr. Madore is multiracial, Filipina woman working as a Clinical Neuropsychologist at VA Palo Alto Healthcare System (VAPAHCS) in the Mental Illness Research, Education and Clinical Center (MIRECC). Here she serves as the Director of the National Clinical Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Program whose mission is to: 1) increase the availability of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) for treatment-resistant depression in Veterans and (2) gain a greater understanding of the treatment efficacy of TMS in our complex Veteran population. She is also the Co-Director of the Sierra Pacific MIRECC Advanced Fellowship at VAPAHCS. Dr. Madore is the site PI on two multi-site funded studies looking at neuroimaging biomarkers of treatment response to TMS in treatment-resistant depression. Dr. Madore is also a Clinical Assistant Professor (Affiliated) at Stanford University School of Medicine’s Department in Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.
She received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Cincinnati, where she received specialized training in neuropsychology. Dr. Madore completed her pre-doctoral internship at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS). She has completed postdoctoral training focused on clinical neuropsychology and neurorehabilitation research at VA Martinez, San Francisco VA Medical Center and VAPAHCS.
Dr. Madore is involved in several professional organizations and serves in several leadership positions. She is the Society of Clinical Neuropsychology Secretary and Treasurer for the Teleneuropsychology and Digital Technologies Special Interest Group of the International Neuropsychological Society. -

Theresa’s current clinical practice within the Division of Pain Medicine, focuses primarily on evaluation and treatment of individuals suffering from acute and chronic pain conditions in both the hospital and outpatient settings.

Current Role at StanfordSal Mancuso is an experienced data engineer who joins The PRIDE Study as the LGBTQ+ Digital Health Research Data Engineer. Sal spent nearly seven years with Stanford University's Graduate School of Business (GSB), most recently leading the data engineering unit within the Data, Analytics, and Research Computing (DARC) team. The DARC team engages directly with Ph.D. students, researchers, and faculty members, preparing large-scale datasets, assisting with data analysis, and consulting research design. Ivana Maric

BioIvana Maric received her B.S. degree from the University of Novi Sad, Serbia. She received her M.S and Ph.D. from Rutgers University. From 2006 to 2010 she was a postdoctoral scholar at Stanford University. From 2010 to 2013 she was with Aviat Networks, Santa Clara, CA. From 2013 to 2017 she was at Ericsson Research, Santa Clara, CA. During Spring 2016 she was an adjunct faculty at Santa Clara University. Since 2017, she is a Research Scientist at the Prematurity Research Center at Stanford University, School of Medicine.
Her research focuses on applying machine learning to improving maternal and perinatal health. Previously, her research has focused on information theory, a mathematical discipline tightly related to statistics and machine learning. She co-edited and co-authored a book, a monograph, two book chapters and multiple journal and conference papers on the topic. She served as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Communications Letters from 2009 to 2012, for the Trans. on Emerging Telecommunications Technologies from 2016 to 2018. She is a co-recipient of the 2021 Rosenkranz Prize and the 2013 IEEE Communications Society Best Tutorial Paper Award.
