Current Research and Scholarly InterestsDr. Rose's research investigates early brain and motor development in preterm children and neuromuscular mechanisms underlying cerebral palsy (CP). Research examines neonatal microstructural brain development on DTI and physiological correlates of motor function in preterm children. Dr. Rose served on the NIH Taskforce on Childhood Motor Disorders, the AACPDM Research Committee and Steering Committee to develop CDE for CP neuroimaging diagnostics, and serves on the Board of Directors of SBMT.
