Julian Hans Hong

Temp-High School Student, Hoover InstitutionBioJulian Hong is a junior at Palo Alto High School and currently serves as a research assistant for The Hoover Project on Taiwan in the Indo-Pacific Region. His primary focus is analyzing policy changes implemented by the People's Republic of China (PRC) during the Tsai Administration. In addition to his research responsibilities, Julian is actively involved in various aspects of student life. He holds the positions of Student Body President, Speech & Debate Captain, and News/Opinion Editor for The Campanile, which was the nation's top student publication in 2021. Outside of high school, Julian has served as a District Intern for the California State Assembly and participates in the USA Volleyball Beach National Team Development Program.
