Stefan P. Domino
Adjunct Professor, Institute for Computational and Mathematical Engineering (ICME)
BioDr. Stefan Domino’s research interest rests within low-Mach fluid mechanics methods development for marine ethology-based systems that drive the coupling of mass, momentum, species and energy transport. His core research resides within the intersection of physics elucidation, numerical methods research, V&V techniques exploration, and high performance computing and coding methods for turbulent flow applications. Through his ICME Adjunct Professor appointment, Stefan supports the teaching of Computational Methods in Fluid Mechanics, is a former Distinguished Member of the Technical Staff at Sandia National Laboratories, and is the CEO of the 501(c)(3) Computational Marine Ethology Research Institute, https://www.comeri.org

BioJulia Donahue is a Clinical Research Manager with the Stanford Center for Clinical Research (SCCR) at Stanford University. Julia has been working with SCCR since 2021. Her professional interests include Project Management, Digital Health, Study-Startup, Hospital-Based Research, and Decentralized Clinical Trials. She has extensive clinical trial experience in multiple fields, including but not limited to cardiology, dermatology, endocrinology, infectious diseases, psychiatry, and rheumatology.
Julia graduated with honors from McGill University in 2016, where her primary research interests were in neurodevelopmental disorders and autobiographical memory. -

Jonathan Dotan

Staff, Program-Weissman T.BioJonathan Dotan is the founding director of The Starling Lab at Stanford University and USC, where he leads applied research on the decentralized web and human rights. For over 20 years, he’s navigated the intersections of media, tech, and policy as a tech founder.
Jonathan is a fellow at Stanford’s Center for Blockchain Research and Compression Forum, where he is researching strategy and policy for distributed ledger technologies. His scholarship examines Internet governance frameworks, the transition to Web 3.0 and the prospects for a more decentralized internet.
He lectures at Stanford’s School of Engineering and Graduate School of Business. Jonathan’s teaching asks students to consider the never-simple relationship between innovation and progress — recognizing how each new technology brings choices and responsibilities. -
James Douglass

BioJames Douglass (he/him) is the Software Architect for the Natural Capital Project. His current work focuses on expanding access to InVEST through better tooling in heterogeneous compute and development environments, supporting research efforts and identifying and prototyping impactful improvements to NatCap's Science and Technology offerings. In previous roles with NatCap, James has led the technical strategy of InVEST, led the development of OPAL, and previously served as lead of the Software Team. James received his B.S in Computer Science from St. Lawrence University.

BioAs the undergraduate student services officer for the Department of History, I oversee student degree progress in the major and minor and work closely with the director of undergraduate studies, director of honors and research, and our intrepid peer advisors to plan and carry out undergraduate programming. I also schedule the department’s curriculum in collaboration with the vice chair. I enjoy getting to know each student as they journey through the major or minor, and am always happy to chat with students about their interests and plans, both within Stanford and beyond.
