Meital Peleg Mizrachi
Academic Fellow - Law, Law & Business
BioDr. Meital Peleg Mizrachi is an Academic Fellow at Stanford Law School’s Rock Center for Corporate Governance. Her research examines the environmental, social, and regulatory dimensions of production and consumption, with a particular focus on the fashion industry. Her work brings together questions of sustainability, markets, policy, and governance, and draws on interdisciplinary approaches to understand the gap between sustainability goals and their outcomes in practice. In recent years, her research has also examined secondhand clothing supply chains in Africa and their environmental, social, and governance implications.
Prior to joining Stanford, she was a postdoctoral fellow in Yale University’s Department of Economics and taught at the University of Connecticut’s School of Public Policy. She is also a member of the Executive Board and Education Lead of the Sustainable Fashion Consumption Network, an international research network dedicated to advancing research and collaboration on sustainable fashion consumption. She holds a Ph.D. in Public Policy with distinction.
