Aadhityaa Mohanavelu

BioAadhityaa Mohanavelu is a Ph.D. candidate in the Osman Lab at Stanford University, where he works on quantifying water and infrastructure challenges and developing more equitable and resilient infrastructure systems. His research uses tools and techniques from diverse disciplines, including computational modeling, artificial intelligence, qualitative methodology, spatial analysis, and sensor-based experiments, to better understand infrastructure and environmental problems and develop innovative solutions.
He has a strong background in modeling hydro-climatic systems, studying infrastructure resilience, and assessing environmental hazards. Aadhityaa is a 2023 Quad Fellow in the inaugural cohort. Outside research, he loves to hike, read books and travel. -

BioI was born, raised, and trained in Nashik, India where I completed my formal Medical Education before moving to New York City where I completed my residency in Internal Medicine at New York Downtown Hospital in New York, NY. My interests are in preventative medicne, health and wellness, occupational and environmental safety. In Stanford's Occupational Health Department, I practice clinical occupational medicine while working toward identifying health and safety issues within our enviroment to prevent further injury and illness to our employees.
